Tour Reviews

Prangli Island Daytrip
I toured Prangli Island with a wonderful guide, Helena. I was in the Baltics for three weeks, and this day on Prangli Island stands out as the highlight of my entire trip! The tour had a complimentary balance of time on your own to explore the island and a guided tour, with a provided lunch in the middle. Helena was personable and explained island life, noting how people on the island live, shop for groceries, and ferry to the mainland. Riding bike, sitting by the sea, and learning about Estonia made for an unforgettable day as we explored the island by truck. The tour was fun and adventurous while valuing the local heritage. We visited the Community Center and voted on the school children’s artwork. Helena even had a few surprises for us on our tour!
This is a must for all visiting Tallinn! Transportation was provided from Old Town. The day was perfect!
Thank you, Helena, for such happy memories from my time in Estonia!

Prangli Island Day Trip
Had a fantastic day on Prangli island with our excellent tour guide. Really enjoyed the stories of the island and the one to one experience. Her knowledge and information was second to none. We were very lucky with the weather, which made the trip even more special. Must also mention the tasty lunch which we had on the island, complete with a celebratory slice of birthday cake. A brilliant trip, would highly recommend.

Prangli Island Day Trip
We want to thank you once more about our wonderful day at Prangli. This was one destination that we have looked forward to see for many years. The best things on the island were the idyllic and cute rural villages, very friendly people, fascinating history and absolutely beautiful natural reserves. The food that was served was tasty and we enjoyed the whole program, which was nicely selected to give the tourist a pretty good look around the island. We also liked that the tour was made with the old trucks and we could see the landscape all the time.
Special mention needs to be said about the tour guide. She was extremely friendly and professional. She was very easily approachable and was full of information and energy. This is really what a tour guide should always be. We would recommend her at any times! So thank you for the friendly atmosphere. This is surely a trip that we will be remembering with warm thoughts.

A perfect visit to a beautiful Estonian Island
Andreas was a fabulous guide on this lovely day out from Tallinn to Prangli island. First a lovely ferry ride of an hour from a tiny harbour set in lovely countryside 30 minutes drive from Tallin. We sat out on deck and were blessed with calm waters and beautiful sunshine. Arrived at beautiful Prangli island – very small with only about 50-60 inhabitants! We were taken on a tour by open top jeep and had lots of interesting stops and information from Andreas. He was genuinely enthusiastic about showing us this lovely place and telling us it’s history. Lunch was freshly caught fish and other local specialties at a rustic guesthouse in a beautiful countryside setting. After lunch we had time to ourselves for a walk and a cup of tea at a cafe by the harbour before taking the ferry back. Will definitely use this company again if we go back to Tallinn. First class.

Prangli Island tour
My sister and I did the Prangli Island tour with Berit. We had an amazing time. There were just 2 other travelers with us so the group was small and we were able to make it our own. The island is beautiful and a must see. Berit was very knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel very welcome on our second day in Estonia. We ate a delicious lunch with a local family (cod, potatoes, cottage cheese with dill, tomatoes and cucumber, followed by our choice of coffee or tea). If I ever get a change to come back to Estonia I will definitely do another tour and ask for Berit! Thanks for a lovely day!

Day trip to a beautiful Estonian island
Prangli island is a real unique destination for a day trip from Tallinn because it is home to unspoiled nature, it has its own Estonian dialect and a strong fishing tradition. Prangli is best visited on organised trips, including ferry to and from the island, tour on an open-bed truck, visiting the island’s only wooden church, a nature reserve, boulders and a natural gas source.

Prangli Island day trip
I went on the Prangli Island day trip with Kristiina and had the most lovely day! The island is super pretty and peaceful and the guide was very professional and also great to talk to.  She told many interesting stories about the island, which has been continuously inhabited for about 600 years. That and riding on the back of a pick-up truck to see places I couldn’t reach by foot made the day much more special than if I had gone there by myself. We visited quite a few interesting sights in the morning, from the tower of a cute wooden church to a natural gas source (where I could blow the fire out myself, haha) and even picked some delicious berries on the way. Lunch was tasty and took place in a beautiful scenery. After that I had about 3 hours to explore the island by myself, walking around and enjoying the views. Totally recommend it!
