Epp
Guide
As a guide, what I enjoy most is the role of being a bridge between people and nature. I’m a wanderer at heart. I like to take my time, observe, and notice the small details around me. In the forest and at sea, I feel completely at home. Being in nature and on the move brings me so much joy—and I’m not afraid to admit that with a smile.
What started as a hobby—spending time in nature—has become my profession. It’s a way of life. I have a background in natural sciences and nature tourism. When I can be active, outdoors, surrounded by nature and beautiful people—there’s no other job I’d rather do.
I work as a freelance hiking guide both in Estonia and Norway, and occasionally I also offer experience-based outdoor catering for groups. Alongside my work, I dedicate time to nature conservation as a volunteer, participating in or leading habitat restoration work camps. I also spend much of my free time outdoors—paddling, hiking, or traveling the world. I deeply value our four seasons and am a big fan of island life. It’s no surprise, then, that one of my dearest hobbies is playing the Hiiu kannel (Hiiu zither).
