Café Roheline Luuk on Prangli Island

The café Roheline Luuk (Green Hatch) got its name because hatches (luuk) have always been trendy on Prangli Island. And why green? Because we love green thinking. That means we don’t use disposable dishes and we grow salad greens and herbs right here on site. We offer local drinks: herbal teas made from Prangli plants, homemade herbal lemonade, and Prangli beer.

For a hearty bite, we serve soup, loaded sandwiches, and a variety of snacks. Those with a sweet tooth can enjoy milkshakes, house-made waffles, and ice cream!

As souvenirs, you can buy Põhjaranna herbal schnapps, Prangli beer, and more. Plus, we offer free outdoor games for all guests—test your aim and skills!

The café is located in the village center next to the Prangli shop.

For larger groups, we offer a richer menu by pre-order. Info and bookings: info@pranglireisid.ee

Customer Feedback

Thank you so much for taking the time to speak with me. I really appreciate your willingness and kindness around taking the time to respond to all of my questions with such care and honesty. I also really enjoyed your cake — it is rare to find a good moist cake in the US and you mastered it perfectly.

Roheline Luuk was a true surprise on Prangli Island – a cozy, tasteful, and warm place where it simply felt good to be. The food was fresh and delicious; we especially loved the fish soup, which couldn’t be found anywhere else on the island. A cheerful accordion player added to the atmosphere, and we also got to check out the newly released book “My Prangli.” We’ll definitely visit again the next time we’re on the island!

Prangli Café Day was truly delightful, and Roheline Luuk stood out to us – both for the food and the atmosphere. It felt like every bite was made with heart and joy. The garden vibe, colorful details, and lovely music created such a homely feeling. Thank you for the wonderful experience – we’ll definitely be back next year!
