Summer café on Prangli Island – Roheline Luuk

In 2022 we opened the Roheline Luuk café on Prangli, right next to the shop. The name (Green Hatch) is inspired by the serving hatches so typical of Prangli Island, which have always been in fashion here. Green stands for our love of nature and plants. If you want to experience genuine flavours from the forest and the sea, we are sure to surprise you.
We are open every day from 11:00 to 16:00, and at other times by special arrangement. You can also buy food and drinks from the hatch to take away.
What does Roheline Luuk offer?
The menu features fresh, seasonal dishes suited to both a quick bite and a relaxed meal. The daily menu includes the island’s much-loved fish soup. There are several options for fish lovers among the mains and snacks, too. For something sweet, we serve fresh waffles with jam, ice cream cocktails and cakes. In 2026, our genial cook, Pekka “Captain Trumm”, will treat you to delicacies every day.
The drinks menu offers exotic cocktails, herbal refreshments and sailor’s drinks. Our house favourites are Prangli beer and the dry French-style dry apple cider Prangli Õunakas. On hot summer days, herbal lemonade and iced tea – made on site from local plants – are a great way to cool down.
You can also buy food and drinks to take away. Pop by the hatch!
Group orders and extras
For larger groups, we offer a richer food menu by advance order (bookings: info@pranglireisid.ee). On top of that, all guests can enjoy free outdoor games that test both accuracy and skill.
