Avaldatud: 12. March 2025
Prangli Island is a popular destination for organizing company events, both for small and large businesses. Here you will find a unique atmosphere, a warm welcome, and carefully planned organization that ensures satisfaction for every participant.
Prangli Travel has been organizing company summer events since 2011. We know how to plan island-based events and ensure smooth arrangements – from accommodation and sea transport to exciting program planning.
We understand that you want the best possible solution for your group. To help you get to know Prangli Island and our services better, we have put together answers to the 10 most frequently asked questions:
1) How large of a group can be hosted on Prangli Island?
The largest company event we have organized so far had 160 participants. Larger events require early planning, but with good logistics we can handle everything – guests are accommodated in various lodgings, while all activities take place together. Prangli Island is small, but full of possibilities!
2) What are the accommodation options on Prangli Island?
There are around 200 beds available across various accommodations on the island. Several guesthouses and cabin complexes offer overnight stays, most of them with saunas and catering. The guesthouses, located in traditional old farmhouses, are situated in the village of Lääneotsa. For larger groups (35+ people), we can provide accommodations in nearby farmsteads. Newer cabin complexes are located on the island’s northern shore. For smaller groups, we offer special programs at the new seaside Villa of Nature Energy – a perfect peaceful and nature-friendly retreat.

3) How long is the boat ride to Prangli?
The regular ferry Wrangö departs from Leppneeme Harbour and takes about one hour to reach Prangli. The longest option is by sailing yacht, which takes at least 4–5 hours. For larger groups, we recommend booking a private sea transfer; for smaller groups, we arrange travel via the regular ferry.
4) Is there a parking lot at Leppneeme Harbour?
Yes, Leppneeme Harbour has a free, unattended parking lot. If possible, we kindly ask that you carpool to the harbour to reduce the number of vehicles, so there is enough parking space for everyone.
5) Can we take bicycles on the ferry?
Yes, bicycles can be transported on the ferry for 2 eur per bike. If your group has more than 10 bikes, please reserve in advance.
6) What catering options are available on Prangli, and can we bring our own food and drinks?
During the summer, there are several catering options on the island. Our own eco-café Roheline Luuk is located near the village shop and offers dishes made with local ingredients. For larger groups, we offer catering at SaareResto, KoduSadama Café, or local guesthouses, where you can choose a suitable group menu. You can also rent the Community House or the outdoor stage area with catering. In guesthouses, you may consume your own food and drinks, but not in cafés or restaurants.
7) Is there a shop on Prangli Island?
Yes, Prangli has a shop located in the center of the island, open daily during the summer. Opening hours can be found on the Prangli Shop’s Facebook page.
8) What activities do you recommend for groups on Prangli?
In addition to the island tour in the back of a truck, which is included in the package, you can also book active experiences and team games with us. The most popular include:
- Digital treasure hunt or relay race Prangli-style.
- Interactive island-themed quiz.
- Charity clean-up hike on the island.
- You can also rent the Community House or the open-air stage for various activities.
9) Are there beaches on Prangli Island?
Yes, there are several swimming spots. The most popular is the white sandy Mölgi beach, which also has a volleyball court and a surf bar. Another great swimming area is by the Ülesaare camping site on the island’s northern shore. Nearby are also the open-air stage, village swing, and another volleyball court.
10) What happens if it rains?
It often rains less on small islands than on the mainland! If rain is forecast, come prepared with the right clothing. It’s also possible to set up a party tent for shelter in the evening.
