Café Roheline Luuk on Prangli Island

The café Roheline Luuk got its name because hatches (luuk) have always been trendy on Prangli Island. And why green? Because we love green thinking. That means we don’t use disposable dishes and we grow salad greens and herbs right here on site. We offer local drinks: herbal teas made from Prangli plants, homemade herbal lemonade, and Prangli beer.

For a hearty bite, we serve soup, loaded sandwiches, and a variety of snacks. Those with a sweet tooth can enjoy milkshakes, house-made waffles, and ice cream!

As souvenirs, you can buy the Prangli and Aksi Island book, postcards, Põhjaranna herbal schnapps, Prangli beer, and more. Plus, we offer free outdoor games for all guests—test your aim and skills!

The café is located in the village center next to the Prangli shop.

Open June to August, Friday–Sunday. Exact hours will be announced as the season approaches.

For larger groups, we offer a richer menu by pre-order. Info and bookings: info@pranglireisid.ee

Customer Feedback

This café left a lasting impression – simple, charming, and authentic. The food was fresh and well-prepared, with perfectly sized portions. I especially enjoyed the spicy chili con carne-style stew. You could really taste the local life and flavor in the homemade herbal schnapps. Definitely a spot worth stopping by when visiting the island.
