Estonian island in spring – Prangli Run and “Let’s do it” clean up hike

Spring is a perfect time to get out of the city and discover an Estonian island and its local traditions. Take a day trip to Prangli Island on 4th of May because on this day we have several events and things to do.

What’s happening on Prangli Island?

In the morning you have an opportunity to participate in “Let’s do it! World” clean up hike. It’s a great way to discover the island, its fishing villages, sandy beaches and pine forests while doing something useful for the community. “Let’s Do It! World” is a civic-led mass movement that began in Estonia in 2008 when 50,000 people together cleaned up the entire country in just five hours.  This year nearly 120 countries and 20 million people have joined the movement to clean up illegal waste.

Prangli Run is an annual event happening every year. This year for the 5th time. It’s a sport event for families where all, kids and grown-ups have a chance to participate. Spend a beautiful spring day out of Tallinn on Prangli island! See the itinerary below.
